William F Ludwig III, WFL III Drums chief drum designer, sent Modern Drummer one of their new G2 shell series, Birdseye Maple snare drums for us to put through the paces. WFL III Drums have been upping their game considerably since we last spoke with them. New advanced equipment and new designs have been added to make this already notable drum line even more competitive. Pulling this beautiful new drum out of the box made me hurry a bit to get this tub on a stand to hear how it sounded. But before we get into the sound, let’s get into the looks and the specs.
