Tré Cool’s Burnt Slingerland Kit Tré Cool is one of my favorite drummers. He is also one of the most interesting people I’ve worked with. He’s certainly one of few drummers who can ride the razor-thin line between control and chaos without ever actually falling into chaos. The excitement and energy he creates is fundamental to Green Day’s immediately recognizable sound. You might compare it to a high-speed motorcycle ride on a windy road where one wrong move would mean disaster. However, the thrill of the ride outweighs the fear of death.
