As the holidays continue, we continue eating our favorite foods, and as ALL of my students know, I love to use food and cooking as a metaphor for music and drumming. Any musician is like one of your favorite prepared foods. Be it a classic casserole, a time-honored smoked meat, a magical lasagna, or a tasty after-dinner cocktail. A great cook spends year’s perfecting a special dish and assembling them to compose a memorable meal and experience for friends and family to enjoy.
