Klaw Drum Anchor: Slip It, Grip It, Rip It!

Adam Stone of Klaw sent Modern Drummer a Klaw kick drum anchor, to try out. Klaw was designed out of necessity to help keep creeping kick drums from slipping away during play. As per Adam: “The days of cinder blocks and special rugs are finally in the rear-view. And wouldn’t you know it, the BIG solution to the ever-pervasive problem of drum creep weighs almost nothing and fits in your hand!” So, let’s try it out and see if it creeps or not! Klaw is smaller than a deck of cards and made of a non-abrasive material and has a series of forward leaning mini spikes on the bottom to grip into the gig rug.
