It’s no wonder that Tommy Aldridge is a rock drumming legend. As early as 1972 he set a new standard for hard rock drumming. His pioneering double bass drumming, plus his unique combination of power, precision, energy, and visual excitement, (pretty much) defined the drummer’s role in hard rock music. His contributions to Black Oak Arkansas, The Pat Travers Band, Ozzy Osbourne, and Whitesnake have safely earned him the title of “rock drumming legend”. Tommy Aldridge’s first high profile gig with Black Oak Arkansas introduced him to a worldwide audience and landed him a Sonor drum endorsement deal. Tommy’s dominating presence and precision stick tricks made him impossible to ignore. His Sonor double bass drum set and oversized hair didn’t hurt either!
