German musical instrument manufacturer GEWA was founded in 1925 in a region known for its rich musical history. In 2020, GEWA began developing digital drums as part of their drum division. The subject of this month’s product closeup is the GEWA G3 electronic drum kit. The company’s intention for the G3 is to provide a quality e-drum kit with high-end features & sounds at an affordable price point. Did they accomplish this? I think so. Let’s dig in. WHAT’S IN THE BOX? The G3 Studio is a 5-piece kit that includes the G3 drum module, a 10” kick drum pad, three 10” tom pads, and a 12” snare pad.
