This summer has been a time for both razzle-dazzle and reflection, with long durations of travel and the solitude that can bring, being punctuated by arrivals, rehearsals and performances. The challenges of getting a good night’s sleep while touring are always a given. Staying healthy? Well, I’ve already documented what happens when you fall down. But being on the wrong end of a sneeze? Good luck! The calm before the storm Spoiler alert: I’m fine and remained so during the entire trip to Asia which I’m about to discuss. The concerts were a series of repeat performances made by the “Dr. Um Steps into the Weather” band that toured Europe in the fall of 2025.
