JC Drumsticks: Celebrating the USA’s 250th Anniversary

John Crocken, the mastermind behind JC Drumsticks, recently sent Modern Drummer a set of the newly minted, handmade, commemorative America 250th Anniversary Drumsticks. The sticks are made of solid ebony wood measuring at 17” in length. They have a shaft width of .725mm, and a bead width of .705mm. These are relatively heavy sticks weigh in at over 100 grams and are based on the Soistman #3 Rudimental Stick of Civil War fame. Rounding out the sticks are metal ferrules engraved with 250 on a Liberty Bell, sitting on a field of the American flag. 1776-2026 is engraved below and each stick is signed by John Crocken. These are high-end sticks for rudimental drummers and collectors alike.
