Our friends over at Evans (by D’Addario) sent us a box full of fun to check out that included their Overtone Damping E-Ring Pack; Damping Gel EQ and Mini EQ Pods; Bass Drum EQ Patch; and an assortment of Drum Keys that included their new Pull Cord Drum Key. This review has been several months in the making as I really wanted to give these items a real good run before I made any conclusions. The E-Rings and EQ Pods made their way around my Drum Studio Lab just to see how they affected different drums and heads. For each solution, I found several willing drum and head combinations that made the drums sound better!
