Tony Verderosa has performed and recorded with Dream Theater’s John Petrucci, ColdCut, Michael Brecker, Katy Perry, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Dave Samuels, Donny McCaslin, Philippe Saisse, and Angelique Kidjo. He is noted for combining acoustic drums with midi percussion controllers. Tony V. was hired as the music director, arranger, and drummer for the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City, performing with Katie Perry, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and many other top artists. In 2019, Verderosa recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road in London. Tony V is active as both composer and music supervisor, working on TV Shows and feature films starring Zoe Kravitz, Michael Shannon and Kate Hudson. He appeared in a national TV commercial called “Tony V’s Mix”, triggering samples and synths live on camera. Since 2004, his record label, KBV, has been creating songs and branded themes for iconic global companies such as Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, A&E, Fox, Infiniti and Rolex. He has released solo CD’s and a series of books and DVDs on drumming with technology published by Hal Leonard. Verderosa designed a signature series of cymbals with Sabian. His most recent performance was at the 2021 Modern Drummer Festival.
