For a lot of drummers, Jay Weinberg will always be associated with the biggest stages in heavy music. But lately, he’s been chasing something different. Between laying down huge drums on Fuming Mouth’s new album, launching what he calls his “anti-solo project,” collaborating with artists across completely different genres, and becoming a father, Weinberg is entering one of the most creative periods of his career. Rather than looking back at what he’s already accomplished, he’s focused on what’s next.
