In Modern Drummer’s “Out Now” column, we usually spotlight several different CD’s, DVD’s, or books that have been recently released that feature notable drummers or impeccable drumming. But every once in a while, something comes along that deserves a little extra attention. This is one of those times. Author-historian-teacher Robert Cataliotti, museum director Greg Lambousy, and curator David Kunian have created a New Orleans Jazz Museum exhibit called Drumsville! The Evolution of the New Orleans Beat. This exhibit started in 2018, and there is now a travelling version of the exhibit scheduled to appear in France, Costa Rica, and Taiwan.
