The Past The 1928 catalogue for the Slingerland Banjo & Drum Company was quite possibly the first “real” catalogue for this “new” drum company. It was chock full of a plethora of high-quality drums and accessories that were designed to give Ludwig (and Leedy) a real run for their money. Most of the Slingerland drums looked very similar, except when you turned them around to reveal the Slingerland snare throw-off and the very distinct “Cloud Badge” logo.
