The drumming community is a close one, our many shared experiences in drumming, our sacrifices for our artform, and our love of drumming establishes a bond that unites us all. When we lose a beloved member of our community, we all hurt and feel the loss of a drum brother whether we knew him or her or not. Sometimes we are fans, sometimes we are peers, sometimes we are students, sometimes we are admirers of a name on a record or a marquee, and sometimes we are just a pair of hands to help each other carry our drums.
