Timothy Northup is a drummer, vintage drum historian, educator and museum curator. He got his first job at an auction house at age 15 where he learned about the Antiques business and by 18 started his own business. Timothy’s antique business helped pay for college at SUNY Oneonta majoring in Art History and minoring in Music Industry… that brings up the next part of the story. Music… Timothy started playing drums at age nine, playing in bands through high school and college and beyond as a paid union musician. His love of jazz and vintage drums led him to put together an impressive, very large collection of rare and important vintage drums and percussion accessories all on display that you can actually play in his own personal drum museum!
