Beginning last year, ddrum has offered what they refer to as the “Pitstop” configuration of their SE Flyer line of shell packs. The Pitstop configuration features smaller drum sizes than the original SE Flyer kit, which makes it very compact. Modern Drummer received one of these little beauties in a Vintage Sparkle finish for this month’s product close up. Configuration The 4-Piece shell pack comes with a 7” x 10” rack tom, a 12” x 13” floor tom, a 15” x 16” kick drum and a 6” x 13” snare drum. The toms and snare are supplied with Remo UT coated heads, while the bass drum has a clear batter head.
