SJC Drums was founded in 2022 in Southbridge, MA with the idea of producing world-class drums. A quick trip through their website is certainly impressive and it is easy to see that they mean business and are proud of their history! The line-up is chocked full of different metals, woods, ply configurations, sizes, styles, textures, graphics, and finishes. Nothing is off the table with these guys! SJC Drums sent Modern Drummer one of their most popular models: a solid, beautifully hand-hammered brass shell snare drum from their highly acclaimed Alpha series. We couldn’t wait to hammer on this one and see what’s involved here.
