Vans Warped Tour 2026
Last year the legendary Vans Warped Tour returned in celebration of its 30th anniversary and the concerts took place in Washington D.C., Long Beach, and in Orlando, FL. For Warped Tour 2026, it came to the same three cities, and added Montreal, Canada and Mexico City, Mexico.
Long Beach, CA is a perfect city to host a pair of these shows because so many great punk bands have emerged from there and Orange County. Each day hosted around 80 bands/artists across eight stages including various genres like Rock, Pop, Metal, Alternative, Hip-Hop, and more.
Although Warped tour doesn’t have official headliners, day one’s later sets included Jimmy Eat World (Zach Lind,) Simple Plan (Chuck Comeau,) All Time Low (Rian Dawson,) Hoobastank (Chris Hesse,) and Attila (Tyler Kruckmeyer.) Throughout the day bands like Bowling For Soup (Gary Wiseman,) Gym Class Heroes (Manny The Drummer,) Grandson (Miles Elze,) Phantom Planet (Andrew Parker,) 3OH!3 (Jess Bowen,) LoLo (Robert Bruneau,) Suicide Silence (Ernie Iniguez,) Girlfriends (Nick Gross,) Magnolia Park (Joe Horsham,) Reel Big Fish (Ed “Smokey” Beach,) Escape the Fate (Robert Ortiz,) and Plain White T’s (De’Mar Hamilton,) played on the various stages. Jimmy Eat World, who are currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Bleed American, were second to last on the Vans Stage playing the album in its entirety. The Vans stage was closed out with Simple Plan playing hits like “I’d Do Anything,” “Addicted,” and “Shut Up.” For “Jet Lag” Lolo joined in singing Natasha Bedingfield’s parts. State Champs’ Derek DiScanio came out for “Where I Belong,” and Bonnie Fraser for “I’m Just a Kid.” In traditional Simple Plan fashion anyone dressed as Scooby Doo was invited up for the “What’s New Scooby Doo?” theme.
The second day included sets from Papa Roach (Tony Palermo,) Third Eye Blind (Brad Hargreaves,) Waterparks (Otto Wood,) Mayday Parade (Jake Bundrick,) MXPX (Yuri Ruley,) A Day to Remember (Alex Shelnutt,) G-Eazy (Blizzy,) Thrice (Riley Breckenridge,) The Used (Dan Whitesides,) Bayside (Chris Guglielmo,) The Cab (Dave Briggs,) Glassjaw (Chad Hasty,) XCOMM (Revel Ian,) and Crown the Empire (Mike McKerracher.)
Third Eye Blind was the second to last band on the Vans Stage playing hits like “Graduate,” “Losing A Whole Year,” “Jumper.” They closed with “Semi-Charmed Life.” Yellowcard’s Ryan Key joined in to play “Ocean Ave.” Next year will be the 30th anniversary of their 6x-Platinum debut album. Closing the Vans Stage was Papa Roach which included a lot of pyro. H20’s Toby Morse came out for “Braindead” dedicated to Sick of It All’s Lou Koller, who passed just two days before. Papa Roach played hits like “Getting Away with Murder,” “Scars” “Between Angels and Insects,” and ended with their biggest hit “Last Resort.” Warped Tour will return to Long Beach again next year on July 24th and 25th.
