This Fibes kit was produced in 1970 at the Farmingdale factory. It consists of fiberglass shells with an actual chrome metal wrap. The eight concert toms were custom made by a Fibes employee and were tucked away for five years. The sizes are 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, 13”, 14”, 15”, and 16”. To the best of Tony’s knowledge, Fibes has never produced single headed concert toms and has never produced a drum under 12”, thus making these Fibes Concert Toms one of a kind and the only ones in the world. The remaining kit consists of two 14 x 24” bass drums and a 16 x 16” double headed floor tom. These drums are also fiberglass shells with the chrome metal wrap. The 1975 Hinger Touch Tone snare drum is sized at 6½ x14” and consists of a Phenolic shell with a chrome metal wrap. This snare drum is also rare. […]
