You never know what you’ll find on Craigslist. What initially looked like the crappiest set of drums I’ve ever seen, turned out to be one of the greatest and most iconic rock and roll drum sets of our time with a long and fascinating story. I’ve been dealing in used drums for a long time. I started long before eBay and Reverb, and actually long before there even was an internet. I’ve seen some crappy drum sets, but this one took the cake. Fundamentally it was a great set, but it had definitely seen better days. Actually, that’s a dramatic understatement.
