This month’s Modern Drummer Kit of the Month comes from Brian Thompson. Brian’s entire kit is mounted on a cool Gibraltar Stealth Docking Station rack consisting of a no-leg hi-hat stand, snare basket, 22” hoop over the bass, and a straight rack on the right to support the cymbals. He uses a Yamaha direct-drive double kick pedal. His drums are Mapex Armory Studioease with a 22” bass drum, 5.5×14” Mapex Tomahawk snare, 12” and 14” mounted toms, and a 14 x 16” floor tom. His cymbals are 15” Hi-Hats, 16” Crash, 10” Splash, 16” Trash China, and a 22” Dark Ride, and are all Meinl Dark Customs.
