This month’s Modern Drummer Kit of the Month comes to us from Alison Gibb. Alison started to play at the age of 50 and has been playing and taking lessons for four years. She bought this Mapex kit from her drum teacher, and her supportive partner gave her Remo Silent Stroke Heads and Zildjian Low Volume 80 Cymbals. Her drums are 10”, 12”, 14” toms, a 20” Bass Drum, and a 14” snare. The 14” Hi-hats, 16” and 18” Crash, and 20” Ride all help to keep the volume down. Congrats to Alison for joining the community of drummers! Late starters are always a welcome addition to the club. Keep practicing!!!
