Tama at NAMM 2015 (VIDEO)

In this video from NAMM 2015, Tama’s Terry Bissette leads us through the company’s new hardware, drumsets, hardware, and snare drums.

New for 2015 is the Superstar Classic drumset that features 100%-maple shells and comes in either a five-or seven-piece configuration. Lacquer finishes are available in four colors, and there are also four wrapped finishes available.

Also new for 2015 is the Speed Cobra 310 series pedal, which features a long footboard and is available in either single or double pedal at a lower price point.

For its limited edition drumsets, Tama is introducing the Silver Star Mirage four-piece shell pack with 10″ and 12″ toms, a 16″ floor tom, and a 22″ bass drum. It also includes a free 6×14 snare. All of the drums are made with seamless acrylic shells.

Tama is introducing a new shell for its ultra-high-end Star Series, which are made in Japan. The new kit features very thin 100% walnut shells with the same fittings as the original Star Series drumsets. Advertisement

New for ’15 in the SLP Star Lab Project snare drums is the brand-new 10-ply birch shell G-Birch model.

Tama has overhauled and reinvented its Roadpro hardware to include new pipe joints and rubber feet so that the stands are more functional.
