A master class and performance will be presented by rock/pop/studio great Kenny Aronoff at the JCC in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 28, 2015.
The master class will be held from 4 pm to 5 pm. Open to all ages and abilities, tickets are $50 each and space is limited. While performing and demonstrating his powerful playing style, Aronoff will discuss the four concepts of drumming that apply to all styles of music. Drawing on his extensive experience as a performer and session musician, Kenny will offer insights into functional practicing, recording in studios, and preparing for live or studio work.
At 7:30 pm the famed drummer and IU Jacobs School of Music graduate, who has worked with iconic musicians such as John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and others, will perform live and share stories and his keys to success from his forty-plus years in the music business. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
