In the video from NAMM 2015, Remo’s Chris Wakelin introduces us to two new drumheads from Remo for 2015.

First is the new Powerstroke 77. The Coated Powerstroke 77 has two 7-mil plies, a 7-mil underlay ring that reduces overtones, and a 5-mil clear center dot that adds durability.

Next is the Powerstroke 3 Black Dot bass drum head. It has a thin underlay at the outer edge to reduce overtones, and the 5-mil black dot provides deeper tones and extra durability. The Powerstroke 3 Black Dot bass drum head is available in clear and coated versions and in sizes from 18″ to 26″ diameters.

The NAMM Show 2015, a trade-only event for the music products industry, was held January 22-25 in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center.
