Modern Drummer was saddened to hear of the passing of Bruce Crump, drummer for the popular southern rock band Molly Hatchet. The group hit big in 1979 with a mix of southern and hard rock styles, exemplified by the title track to its sophomore album, Flirtin’ With Disaster.
