The Craviotto Drum Company’s new Solitaire snare drums feature a price point geared toward providing working drummers with a handmade metal shell instrument. Solitaire snares feature a thin-wall, aero-grade aluminum shell that’s cast and rolled in the USA and is said to provide strength, warmth, clarity, and substantial body with enhanced mid-range projection.
Additional features include a dual-diamond venting system, modeled after Craviotto’s signature wood inlays found on its solid wood drums, and Craviotto’s new low-mass single-point diamond tube-lug made of solid brass.
The Solitaire series shell is said to speak clearly from a whisper to a roar, making it versatile for all performance applications and environments, and is microphone friendly, making it ideal for live and recording.
Available in 5.5×14 and 6.5×14, Craviotto Solitaire snare drums are available in Matte Black and Aged Pewter. List price is $795.
