Nady recently announced the addition of two new models to their SCM Series studio condenser microphones, the SCM-1200 and SCM-700.

The SCM-1200 is designed for instrument and vocal recording applications and provides transparency and extended smooth, full-frequency response. Additional features include high sensitivity and SPL capability, cardioid pattern 1″ back electret condenser with FET preamp, internal shockmount construction for structural integrity and rugged reliability, and transformerless low-noise/high-dynamic range output.

The SCM-700 is designed for use with smart phones, tablets, computers, and live/studio professional mixers and audio equipment. The mic features an electret condenser element with frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz. The XLR to TRS and TRRS adapter (included) enables connection to a smart device to record clear audio with an app. Other features include cardioid polar pattern pickup, phantom power from 5v to 48V, and compact, durable construction.
