The Gretsch Company was founded in 1883 and manufactured banjos, tambourines, and drums. Operations moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1916 and Gretsch became one of the most prominent manufacturers of American musical instruments.

The NAMM Show is the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products industry. It is one of the two largest music product trade shows in the world.
