Aaron Spears’ Master Class to be Webcast Live

Aaron Spears’ App IconDrum Channel has announced that a master class by world-renowned gospel and R&B drummer Aaron Spears will be webcast live from Drum Channel studios in Oxnard, California on drumchannel.com at 7 pm EST (4 pm PST), Saturday, November 9. Spears has played with Usher, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, American Idol Live, and others.

The Aaron Spears master class will be a live, exclusive, interactive event sponsored by Drum Channel, Drum Workshop, Zildjian, Remo, and Vic Firth in conjunction with the Aaron Spears App. Promotional partners include the Enter Music Network, Guitar Center, and the Los Angeles Music Academy.

During the seminar, Aaron will discuss his background and will demonstrate his signature drumming with a live band of top LA-area musicians while answering questions from the studio audience as well as an online audience from around the world. Advertisement

To support this groundbreaking educational event, the sponsors have organized an online contest with drum gear and lessons valued at more than $10,000. One winner will receive a one-on-one lesson with Aaron Spears, via Skype, along with a DW Edge snare drum, Zildjian Inspiration cymbal pack, Remo drumhead pack, a ticket to the master class, a brick of Vic Firth SAS sticks, and other prizes. Twenty-four winners will receive packages that include a ticket to attend the master class and an assortment of drum equipment and educational materials from DW, Zildjian, Remo, Firth, Drum Channel, and others.

All winners will be randomly drawn from entries submitted at drumchannel.com between September 5 and October 15. Ticket winners will have two weeks to confirm their attendance and will receive their product prize packages whether they are able to attend the master class or not.
