Pierre Moerlen was the drummer on several classic albums by the anarchic floating music ensemble known as Gong, and later led a version of the group. He also played on the seminal album by Gong guitarist Steve Hillage, Fish Rising. Check out this rough but wonderful video of a live Moerlen solo.
