The Overture (right) is an entry-level tambourine with a 10-ply maple shell, a double row of hammered brass jingles, and a Remo Renaissance head. List price: $105.
SoundArt S3 (left) tambourines feature aged brass jingles and a solid cherry shell for a more subtle voice. They are available in double- or single-row configurations, with a calf or Remo Renaissance head. List prices for the four SoundArt models (S3TD, S3TDS, S3TS, and S3TSS) range from $152 to $198.
