How do I access PDFs in the apps?
In order to take advantage of our latest update with PDF access (version 0.2.3), you will need to perform the following steps…
1. Update the app to the latest version.
2. Logout of the app.
3. In the “My Profile” section of our website, delete each mobile device from your account.
4. Log back into the app using the User Name and Password that you used to setup your account at ModernDrummer.com.
Where can I download the new Modern Drummer iOS and Android apps?
How do I get digital access to ModernDrummer.com and the apps?
You can obtain digital access to Modern Drummer by subscribing at ModernDrummer.com/subscribe or within our apps.
To subscribe in our apps, open the menu on the top left and tap SUBSCRIBE. Select your subscription level, one month or one year, and follow the instructions. Once the transaction is complete, you will be automatically logged in and have access to all content on the app.
How do I access content on ModernDrummer.com?
If you’re logging in for the first time, visit ModernDrummer.com and click on “My Profile” at the top of the website. Click on “Lost Password” and enter the email address you used to subscribe. Once you receive the password reset email, you can create a new password and use your email address and new password to access content on ModernDrummer.com. You can follow this process and access content on ModernDrummer.com even if you subscribed directly through our apps.
If you have already created an account, just click “My Profile” at the top of our website and login.
How do I log in to the app?
To log in to the the Modern Drummer app, simply use the same User Name and Password that you used to setup your account at ModernDrummer.com. If you haven’t created an account yet, see “How do I access content on ModernDrummer.com?” above.
If you purchased your subscription through the app, click the menu in the top left corner of the app and click LOGIN. Tap Restore In-App Purchases.
How do I log out of the app?
Click the menu in the top left corner of the app and click LOG OUT.
What if I don’t have a LOGIN button in the menu?
Delete, reinstall the app and log in. See above for how to log in.
Why am I blocked from reading articles?
You are either logged out or didn’t subscribe. See above how to log in or subscribe.
Why am I asked to subscribe again?
Your subscription expired, or you got logged out. See above how to log back in.
How do I know if I am logged in?
You have access to the content.
How do I know if my subscription is still active?
If you purchased your subscription on the website, click My Profile at the top of the homepage and log in

How do I change the font size?
Click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner, and adjust to the preferred size.
How do I turn off sounds made by the app?
Click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner, and tap Turn off sounds.
How do I change my display name?
This feature is under construction and it will soon be available in Settings.
