The guitarist’s new double album features Aaron Parks on keys, Eric Revis on bass, and Justin Faulkner (January 2010 MD) on drums. Rosenwinkel’s New Quartet will tour throughout 2013. U.S. dates are planned for February and March, culminating in a performance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads festival on April 12 and 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The band will return to Europe for dates in April and May, play in the U.S. and Canada in June, and return to Europe during the summer festival season next July.
This DVD features a concert filmed by a professional camera crew at 1988’s Berlin Independent Days festival. The recently rediscovered footage captures the Seattle grunge pioneers’ first performance on foreign soil, and according to some it’s the first grunge gig ever in Europe. Material includes songs from their epochal but then-unreleased Superfuzz Bigmuff EP and their eponymous debut album. Longtime drummer Dan Peters mans the kit.
The thirteen-song DVD captures a performance from last February at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles, where McCartney recorded much of his Kisses On the Bottom album. The setlist includes standards McCartney grew up listening to in his childhood, as well as his own original composition “My Valentine.” Karriem Riggins was the drummer on the date.

FCA! 35 Tour: An Evening With Peter Frampton is available in double-DVD, Blu-Ray, and triple-CD editions. It features performances of Frampton classics like “Show Me The Way” and “Do You Feel Like We Do” as well as tracks from his recent Thank You Mr. Churchill and the Grammy-Award winning instrumental album Fingerprints. The performances were culled from two February 2012 shows—one at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee and the other at the Beacon Theatre in New York—that were part of the tour celebrating the thirty-fifth anniversary of Frampton’s landmark 17 million-selling album Frampton Comes Alive! Regular Frampton drummer Dan Wojciechowski mans the kit.
