KoSA 13th International Percussion Camp, Workshops, and Festival

The KoSA International Percussion Workshop Drum Camp and Festival will take place at the picturesque campus of Castleton State College, nestled in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont, convenient to New York I-87, travel by rail and air, and near to the world-famous Killington Resort. The 13th annual presentation of the event will take place July 30 to August 3, 2008.

The KoSA Workshop is a hands-on, intensive percussion camp unlike any other-a total percussion experience. The course of study includes an incredibly diverse range of styles and techniques. Drumset (from rock, jazz, Latin, funk) and classical percussion; to Brazilian, Arabic, and Indian hand drumming; Latin & Afro-Cuban rhythms, Japanese Taiko drumming, rhythm voice class, classical  marimba, jazz vibraphone, timpani, snare drum, percussion ensemble, steel drum ensemble, and special percussion for band director sessions are offered, as well as classes in video conference and music technology for all levels.

Tuition: $1,150 US double occupancy
            $1,395 US single occupancy
