Eric Harland Blue Note Ace When twenty-five-year-old Eric Harland was a teenager, he weighed an astonishing 380
pounds, making him a target of cruel children, mean-spirited teachers, and sometimes, his own family.
"I would walk into a
clothing store and the employees would just laugh," recalls the Texas native. "Man," they would say, "we don't even carry
your size in here, bro." It was automatic, before I could even get in the door. On top of that, kids at school were always calling me
fat. It seemed that everyone was against me."

Keith Harris Pocket Comes First ny musician's first
tour is a special memory - usually several months on the
road with
friends playing in front of a few interested fans. A lucky performer
might head overseas for a run of shows. And that
must have been what
drummer Keith Harris thought was going to happen when he got the call
from Black Eyed Peas musical
director Printz Board, asking if he wanted
to come along as BEP toured to support Elephunk.
If only he knew.

Raymond Herrera Embracing The New Fear Bad blood among
members can destroy even the most fiercely
committed band quicker than
creative differences, acrimonious label relationships, or poor album
sales. When irreconcilable
differences between Fear Factory vocalist
