Guitar Center’s 26th Annual Drum-Off Finals took place this past January 17, at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Gregg Bissonette hosted the event, which included five finalists facing off in a drum solo showcase. Shariq Tucker, from the Bronx, New York, was named the winner by a panel of star-drummer judges. The evening also included Matt Garstka performing with Animals as Leaders, Steve Jordan playing with the Verbs, Stephen Perkins and Tim Alexander performing together, and Tony Royster Jr. backing a full band.
