Summer Boot Camp is an ideal program for students ages 7 to 18 who want an immersive summer day camp experience to hone their performance and ensemble expertise as well as learn valuable new music industry related skills.

Rock N’ Roll Boot Camp
July 14 – 18, 2008
July 21 – 25, 2008

Take it to the next level! These two sessions are an intensive level of the Paul Green School of Rock Program.

•    Join your friends in a group lesson everyday to learn new techniques and tricks of the trade.
•    Learn a new rock song everyday.
•    Work with local artists on stage presence, equipment care, Roadie techniques and more.
•    Perform a live show at the weeks end.

Songwriting & Recording Boot Camp
August 4-15, 2008

The two-week session is going to get you into the world of writing and recording music.
•    Break down the songwriting process: hooks, choruses, verses.
•    Group lessons everyday
•    Write new songs with a “group”
•    Rehearse new songs
•    Learn professional recording techniques
•    Album Mastering (Is that how they got it to sound like that?)
•    Perform your music live at week’s end.

Frequently Asked Questions

What staff members will be working with them?

Our everyday staff consists of professional musicians that are actively recording, gigging and touring. They are also the teachers of our summer camps.

How many students will be in each session?

There is a maximum of 16 students per session so that we can accommodate the group rehearsals and lessons.


What is the Registration Deadline?

The registration deadline is June 1, 2008 or until we meet our 16 student capacity. A twenty percent deposit is required to save your spot.

How Much Does it cost?

The weekly program is $500. For current Paul Green School of Rock students and siblings it is $400.

Should students bring their own instruments?

Guitars/bassist should bring their own instruments. Drummers and keyboard players don’t need to.
