PROJECT to help underwrite the annual music benefit
 
WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 2008   
ALL DAY CAR WASH  From  7:30 am to 6 p.m.
 
WHERE:  RISDON’S, 4401 VIA REAL, CARPINTERIA 93013
                   Exit 87 Northbound or 88 Southbound on U.S. 101
 
COST:  $13.95 to $23.95   Add’l donations welcome!
Donate $25 or more to TRAP that day and get a raincheck for a “Free Car Wash”
 
SPECIAL:  Look for special gas prices that day too! 
Owner Don Risdon is donating ALL money from the days’ receipts to the annual TRAP Fundraiser on June 1 in Carpinteria. Risdon, owner of the service station and car wash, has been a supporter of Eddie Tuduri, founder of TRAP, since he began the work. He said, “I think TRAP is a very worthwhile organization and I support it wholeheartedly. It’s the only non-profit I support. Watching Eddie’s idea grow has been amazing.”  Don was in the music business before settling in Carpinteria and had worked as stage manager for Kenny Loggins and also with Jimmy Messina.
